A soft and wavy bowl, a statement piece inspired by the makers wife Lilly.
The bowl/plate is perfect for salads, fruit, dessert or used as a vanity dish. Hand made using a press mold, each piece has subtle hand prints, a makers mark of sorts, each piece tells its own story.
Colour is a soft white, with black sand from New Zealand's Murawai Beach scattered through it. Made using New Zealand clay from Waikato
Approx size 28 cm wide and sits about 5 cm high
I ordered the lily bowl as a gift and i am yet to give it away as i just love it so much!
i also ordered at the same time the west coast large vase another potential gift yet to be given as once again I fell in ove with it. These are timeless pieces, made with fine artisty and are very unique, each complements the other, the black fleck in the bowl picks up the black sand of the vase. I have just recently returned from the West Coast, Haast regionbeaches and the black sand took on a whole new appearance to me having now seen in used in a piece of art.
clearly these will not be given away as origianlly intended, instead they will grace my home for my own pleasure.
